The Melbourne Metropolitan is used as a canvas for anecdote via visual journaling from a first person perspective. This experimental project uses a combination of hyperlapse and motion graphics. Using experimental techniques this film documents landmarks present in the Melbourne Metropolis. This is done via hyperlapse that takes the viewer through the location from a first-person perspective. The film visits multiple sites in the Melbourne city that will focus on movement and atmosphere, with each location revealing a journal entry of the experience from varying individuals. The film will be utilising other forms of media such as motion graphics and urban photography. Taking inspiration from other experimental videos that provoke nostalgia and youthfulness, transforming the metropolis into a subject for anecdote.
